Last Monday was a public holiday here in Sydney.
It was ANZAC day.

We decided to stay home and have our loonggg due rest.

The handsome husband suddenly decided to cook

I felt guilty for not cooking so, I baked CHEESECAKE BROWNIES for afternoon tea --

been craving for this! since I have tasted back in San Francisco 5 weeks ago,
My regal friend Margaux baked it for us and it was GLORIOUS!!!
For my first attempt, I'll score it 80%!
I think its about the brownie pan :-) now, i would like to buy this brownie pan!

For dinner, Handsome Husband cooked again! (MIRACLE! happens)
Honestly, This is the BEST PORK ADOBO I have ever tasted in my whole life!!!

Now, please do not ask me for the recipes ---
I need to ask the Handsome Husband for it :-)
For Lunch:      Steamed Snapper with Light Soya Sauce --- Yum! Yum!

The Day after the loongggg Easter Holidays!

I have to face it! Holidays are over.
I have gotten back to work today. I have dreaded this day to come.
I have just recovered from being jetlagged and then stopped working again due to Easter Holidays.
I overly neeeeeeeddddddd my Momentum back!

Boss the Majesty came to work today and demanded this! demanded that!
How can I even finish one task when the Boss kept on disturbing me?
(well, Bosses got all the legal rights right?)
FOCUS Lady Lauriz! FOCUS!
First task in, should be the First Task Out.

Lord help me!

Life without my Motherduck in Sydney

Since Mom left in November, you will find our house in a huge mess! I am trying..trying sooo hard -- but it was just tooo difficult! Come back Mom pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Lord, i am deeply praying that you will please help the Visa case officer realize that I really really need my Mom here. Please let him know that it is also a good chance for my Mom to see some other beautiful places, the places she would like to go to and had not had the chance to go to last year. Please also let him know that her grandkids are overly missing her! The kids are craving for the food she used to cook which I cannot produce no matter how hard I try.

These things I pray in your mighty name, AMEN.

Resurrection Sunday

Wow! Since it was loongg weekend here in Sydney, I chanced upon this blog in my emails --- i have forgotten that I have indeed created a blog for myself! Now, I found it -- I promise I will make use of it!

Its Easter Sunday and it is actually the Resurrection Sunday. We attended 11am church service at Hillsong and we were so blessed to have heard the word of God from 3 different speakers. Pastor Brian talked about Mark's perspective of God's resurrection and Pastor from Brissy preached about Matthew's perspective and then Pastor Robert Ferguson concluded the preaching by challenging and reminding us that GOD is RISEN. He is everywhere. Although, the resurrection happened long time ago, God is still present and will always be present everywhere in our lives.

My last song sydrome after the service? GOD IS ABLE! (the new album coming up in the Market from Hillsong United, we are so blessed to be one of the few people who experienced the live album recording!, I think it should come out in the market by June this year) ---Here are some of the lyrics:

"Lifted up, he defeated the grave, raised to life our GOD is ABLE!"
